So much catching up to to do! So much life...things move too fast. Today I wish I could just stop time...

We have been on crazy the last month. Running 3 ips classes and a conference. I have a lot of stories to tell.  And I will tell them...

Today is one of those days that makes you think. We are currently stuck in CA. In a little town that does not have any car parts apparently. Nothing is open on the weekends and it takes days for them to order anything. We have been here for 3 days.

Things change so fast. On our way home. Ready to see family again. Mom was cooking dinner for us. Things changes. In a second our car broke and we could go no further.

We found out an IPS student fell into a river and is presumed dead as they have not found him nor his body.

In a second things change. In a moment life could be over.

We will miss you Josh:  http://www.joshyeddy.blogspot.com/2012/04/to-die-well.html

So today I am focusing on love. On Jesus, the only for sure thing. On loving my husband well. And telling him how very much I do.

Lord, help me live well! Thanks for 26 incredible years.

The 21 hours to CO

It was really a good drive. We drove to CO in 2 days. It was a nice break from flying. Don't road trips make you feel like you can do anything? Simplifying your life into bags and off you go. Freedom, adventure, endless possibilities.

Here are some window snaps...I love the windmills. They are a nice break from looking at "nothing"

The insane season has arrive....

It's been a crazy week of jet lag, catching up and repacking. We have officially come into our "insane session" We pack up and drive to CO for a month in a few days!I am looking forward to being back in CO. We have a perfect little cabin there and a great church and dear dear friends. Such a blessed wonderful life we have been given.

A few things...

I have been messing with the "eat for your blood type" diet. It's a "better heath" diet. I am ALWAYS looking for foods//ways to feel better. I have struggled with my heath for about 5 years from a serious car accident. I am supose to eat more kale. I started putting it in my smoothies and it's awesome! My husband is only a little freaked out and gets less and less grossed out with every glass...poor dear, that's what you get for marring a Portland girl! We west coast hippies can be so stage...

Oxford 5

It was a great trip to the UK. I am very happy with how the project turned out. We cut a rough draft and have a week to finish the details. All the bosses loved it. They are happy, we are happy. It was a ton of work and a ton of fun. Learned a lot, laughed a lot, slept a little.

I had a first this trip. I walked on English grass! I have NEVER done this. The grass in England is pristine and always has a little sign that reads "Please keep off the grass" Their grass always has the cleanest edges and is super sort. I always wanted to know what it was like to walk on the perfect ground but was always scared to. I did not want to get yelled at by a "Copper". So I obeyed the signs {don't ask me why I obeyed these signs}

BUT outside of Oxford there was a place that served picnics ON THE GRASS! I didn't get a picnic {next time!} I took a walk. And yes, to felt very different and yes it was definitely greener.  I wandered on the perfect green cloud for about 10 min and was thrilled with every second. Probably because it felt so wrong.

Unlike still photography video has sound.. Our interview studentt getting the mic on

Always working...even on the bus

One of the many incredible shoot locations...waiting for the students to arrive.

A long flight following the sunshine. It's always so nice when it finally gets dark after these travel days!

It is so good to be home.  I love the people and the food and the space and the trans {my own car} and the {clean} air and the accents and the humor and the smiles. How blessed we are to live in such a place. I am ALWAYS so happy to walk on American ground. I love you Beautiful!

The house hunt...
We did put an offer in on a home {while in England} and are going to look at it {for the first time} this week. Hope we like it...the photos looked good. Ha. Sometimes I have to wonder at our lives, but mainly I just thank God for it.

See you after a few days of sleep!

Oxford 3

Oxford could be on of the best places in the world. Today Rowan and I had lunch in a building that was built in 1392. 1392!

Here are some photos of my wanderings...

2 of the best libraries on campus.

Coffee shop editing with the street to keep me company.

Waiting for the bus

Interviewing Oxford students!

We are loving our time here and are running around like crazy people with huge bags! {Not very English at all!|} But hey, we are Americans. We are pretty much on a shoot and sleep basis but that is how these things always go. There is always enough time to get a cup of take away English tea however.

Tom Tower noon.

Cheers!

Oxford 2

It was a good day today. We went out shooting for the first time and got some good stuff. The sun did not show it's face so that was a little grey...but it's suppose to clear up by Monday.

The house we are staying in.

Rowan showing the tourists what is cool to take photos of. This actually happened a lot today. And cracked me up every time. Apparently, IPS shot lifting is an international thing.

My favorite cemetery in Oxford...

I feel smart here

Hit one of my favorite coffee shops and got some tea love.

More shooting tomorrow! And hopefully sunshine!

Love,
jocelyn
